  1. As always fabulous photos! Thank you.

Is it OK to bring up a point here about keeping the parks safe from fire so that these flowers are protected? What are the by-laws in this regard in Perivale and Pear Tree Parks? Is there any signage about not using barbecues and is there a detailed drought plan concerning how to protect the parks and surrounding residential areas before a fire starts and spreads?

  2. Richard, About a month or so ago, we were inspected as part of the Green Flag renewal. Part of the inspection involves the park management plan, which apparently our inspector was happy with. But having said that, I have not seen that plan – which presumably should contain details of keeping the park safe from fire. Mindful that around this time last year, there was indeed a significant fire next to what is now Pear Tree Park Bistro. I will ask the park rangers in the first instance if they can provide that plan, or at least indicate what it states about fires, and report back here.
