More history, this time east of Perivale Park, towards Perivale and then to Pitshanger. The ancient parish church of Perivale is located along Perivale lane. One can almost imagine how it all looked 885 years ago!

On the way we pass by in the meadow adjacent to Gurnell leisure centre, with its BMX and skateboard parks. The entire area is scheduled to be converted to a multi-tower housing development over the next 2-3 years, with commensurate change in character from how it looks now. So this may well be a historic record of “how things were”.
